Biloxi Forecast 6/29 – 7/5

After a brief rainy afternoon, conditions for Biloxi today will remain cloudy! Small amounts of energy from former tropical storm Brett were veering northward this afternoon, bringing forth some slight showers.

Rain chances will continue into Thursday as moisture builds in the upper atmosphere. Highs will be in the upper 80s and the warming trend will continue through the rest of the week.

Friday seems to be a bit rainy too. The day will start off cloudy with rain chances increasing by mid afternoon to about 50% and temps will be around 86F. Zonal flow in the jet stream will allow moisture to remain towards the southern Mississippi counties, creating some scattered showers to develop around the Biloxi area.

Saturday seems to have changed in terms of thunderstorms. Models are showing that precipitation will not be likely, but CAPE is still relatively high. If any storm were to develop it would be strong but brief. Chances decrease to 20%.

Sunday things stay sunny with rain chances reaching about 40% but temperatures will climb to to about 89.

Monday into Wednesday the skies will remain partly cloudy with enough sunshine to reach the 90s! Winds will be from the south around 5mph
