Hattiesburg forecast 7/25 – 7/31

Started off our Monday morning with an abundant amount of rain showers! Circulation over the Gulf and re-circulated air from a high pressure system over the Atlantic allowed a favorable environment for rain showers this morning. These conditions will stick with us for most of the day, into the evening.
As for tomorrow morning, lows will be in the mid 70s and we will see cloudy skies over most of the area. As the day goes on, more showers are likely to form as we climb to that high of 90! As the evening draws near, we begin to clear off and see calmer conditions.
Wednesday and Thursday are looking like cloudy skies will be around for these two days. Lows in the lower 70s and highs in those mid 90s. However, rain chances stay lower with westerly winds at 5-10 mph keeping us a bit drier.
Friday seems to bring some clouds with it as well. Waking up to a low around 72, we will see the thermometer rise to 93 with a passing shower later in the afternoon.
Rain chances return by Saturday, as a cold front will try to advance toward us here in the south. Clouds will be in the sky for most of the day and we will get close to 90 depending on rainfall. Sunday and Monday we stay in the lower 90s but cloud cover will keep sunshine limited, and north winds at 5-10 mph will also keep rain chances low.
As for the 14-day trend, we are expecting an average temperature and precipitation pattern for most of the week, only seeing a cooler and wetter trend possible for that Tuesday and Wednesday.
