Alrighty, here is a look at the timeline and threats – broken down by county – for parts of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. Please know that this is an early estimation and is subject to change.

In fact, I would say, THIS is LiKELY GOiNG TO CHANGE here and there. Maybe not drastically, but enough that I really want to encourage you to check back for updates on Sunday and Monday.

This does not include any details on the cold air that is set to move into the area. I will have an update with that information at some point Sunday.

But here is an early, general, look at the county-by-county breakdown….



I-20 CORRIDOR

HINDS COUNTY
There is a risk for liquid rain to change to freezing rain and sleet quickly. This may result in accumulating ice on surfaces and trees.

There wasn’t anything regarding the winter weather in the Northeastern Mississippi counties, ie: Lee county, Pontotoc county, Monroe county, Itawamba county, Tishimingo county, and the other Northeastern Mississippi counties. What is going to happen to us??? It’s 1:17 pm and in our part of Lee county there’s ice falling!!!! What else is going to happen that nobody reported on???????
