South Mississippi Forecast 5/13/21

Things are finally starting to dry out a bit in the area. And it is just in time. After the last few days of rainfall, many people have ponds starting to form in yards. But Mother Nature is going to turn off the spigot for – at least – the next three days.

While there may be a few lingering showers this morning, the rainfall will be inconsequential. And more annoying than meaningful. And once the drizzle and light rain moves out, dry weather is here to stay into and through the weekend.

  1. Nice to see the rain leave, that’s for sure! Just need for it to stay gone for about 14 days in a row. Again, VERY nice to see the daily updates! Hope you are enjoying the new job. We really miss seeing you at the 6 and 10 PM weather spots. Hope Houston is drier than it has been here. Oh, is it true that our Hurricane Season begins on May 15th rather than June 1st?
