Out of the Heat Yet? Almost! But at What Cost?

Hey, y’all! I’m your intern Noah with your weather for the weekend. So, you know this heat wave that’s been singeing the ground? Well, it’s almost gone, but what’s taking it away? The answer is a rogue backdoor piece of energy! It’s moving towards us, but also riding along the coastline moving towards the West. We’ll see on and off showers while it comes through.

Tonight, there is a slight chance of rain that could happen, but very brief before the cloud cover that remains over us until the morning with a low of 74. It’s still going to be hot after dark, so make sure to stay hydrated if you’re out running, playing some sports like tennis, or out doing some sort of other physical activity.

Tomorrow we’ll see clouds off and on during the day coming from the coast. As 10 o’clock rolls around, we’ll see temperatures around 84 with a few clouds in the sky. By 1 o’clock, temperatures will continue to warm up almost into the 90’s with some stray clouds around the area. At 4, we’ll reach our high of 92 with clouds increasing into the evening. By dinner time at 7, we’ll be mostly cloudy with temperatures remaining in the mid-80’s before the sun goes down. Sunday’s low will be a 73 and temperatures will slightly cool with that chance of rain imminent in the afternoon.

I’ll leave it to Kendall to guide you with the forecast for the rest of your week. Have a good weekend!
