South Mississippi Forecast 6/4/21

Well, there have been a few minor changes to the forecast. But those minor changes may have major impacts, depending on your weekend plans.

If you were, say, planning on going to a baseball game on Saturday you may want to re-think that plan. And you will likely be disappointed with the forecast. Conversely, if you were, instead, already planning on reading a book and enjoying the long rumbles of thunder outside then you will really enjoy this forecast.

It looks like we may get an extra slug of moisture into the region on Saturday, when originally it looked like it would hold off until Sunday.

Plus, it looks like another exta slug of moisture will plume toward the area on Monday, too.

The increased chance for rain sticks around through – at least – the middle of next week before the upper-level low that is sitting over Texas decides to move out and we get back to a more manageable 30- to 40-percent chance for rain each day.

  1. If only we could get stretches of pretty weather that lasted as long as these seemingly endless stretches of ugly weather. Phoenix is looking REALLY good right now.
