It’s almost Fall. And it about to start feeling like it, too. Highs today will still feel “Summery” and in the upper 80s with a Heat Index around 95, but that all changes overnight tonight.
A line of showers and storms along a cold front will swing through tonight and usher in much cooler air. Highs in the coming days will top out in the upper 70s and lower 80s.
And we don’t even have to earn it with severe weather! You read that right… Severe weather is not anticipated! For the first time in a long time, temperatures are going from near 90 to barely 80 and the MSALLA doesn’t have to earn it with tornadoes, wind and hail.
Okay, so it isn’t impossible that we see a storm with a wind gust to 60mph. But it is quite unlikely.
Then comfortable air settles in for a few days and highs will be in the 70s and low 80s, the humidity will be markedly lower and there won’t be any chance for rain through the weekend.
In fact! Friday Night Football looks fantastic this week. It might almost be jacket weather in some spots! So “GameTime” might also be “HoodieTime” this week.
