Front rolls through Thursday, then cooler: Southern MS/AL/LA Weather Forecast – 11/2/21

A big thanks for everyone for the well-wishes. As a warning I’m typing this forecast nearly blind as I can’t lean forward far enough to read the computer screen (bad eyes). So if there are more typos on this post than normal, I apologize.

Weatherwise, things are looking relatively uneventful. It looks like a front will push through the area on Thursday with very little fanfare. We’ll take it! Much better than how the weather could shake out this time of year.

After the front passes through, some cooler air will again sweep into the region. This time it will kick overnight lows down to around 40 for some, but closer to 45-50 for others.

Overall, it does look like the entire Southeast will be settling into a pattern with generally near-average or below-average temperatures during the next two weeks. So, for you Autumn lovers, now is your time to shine! I think we will see a few spikes here and there, but for the most part it will feel like November.
