Cooler with a few storms to end November: Southern MS/AL/LA Extended Weather Forecast

Looking at the latest data for the next two weeks and then extrapolating out toward the end of the month, it looks like things will stay slightly cooler than normal with a few days of above-normal temperatures sprinkled in as cold fronts continue to push through the region.

The dry spell that will last through the weekend and into next week should come to an end by the middle of next week. Then it looks like a double-decker will move through with on system on the heels of another leading into the Thanksgiving holiday.

So far Thanksgiving itself looks dry(ish) but it does look to be bookended by chances for rain.

That means we can’t call the froecast “dry” at this point because any wiggling in the schedule for those two systems could plop them right on top of Thanksgiving itself.

It also looks like the system currently pegged for after Thanksgiving may feature some stronger storms. So if that speeds up at all, it may mean a soggy and stormy Turkey Day.

Beyond that, it actually looks like things may try to warm up as we head into December.
