No major changes to the forecast. Though, it does look like the rain on Saturday may hold off just a bit longer to help anyone who is trying to have an outdoor Christmas celebration. I won’t say it will be ‘dry’ but I can say that it is looking drier than yesterday.
Scattered showers will be in the area, but the big slug of moisture does look to hold off until a bit later int eh afternoon and evening. Now, that said, if you are trying to drive around to look at Christmas lights, it may be a bit soggy. And breezy. Not the best night to ride around in the back of a pickup, for sure.

The HRRR model shows scattered showers during the day and evening, with the biggest batch of showers moving into the area after 7p.
The next system will glide by to the south, and offer just a few chances for rain on Monday and Tuesday, but otherwise, the forecast is looking good heading into Christmas.
It does look like another cold front will try to move through around Christmas Eve / Christmas Day, but we are still a bit too far out to talk about specifics with that. If it does move through before Christmas, then Christmas Day may end up feeling quite nice with sunny skies and highs around 60. But if the front slows down, we may be talking about a mild and soggy Christmas.
