The dry stretch continues with only a slight chance for some precip this weekend: Southern MS/AL/LA Weather Forecast – 2/8/22

Another day, another nice forecast. I have to say, this really does beat severe weather forecasting. As much as I enjoy the challenge of a difficult forecast and doing all the math that goes into figuring out what is going to happen…. This “Mostly sunny and nice” stuff isn’t bad at all.

The forecast is going to stay pretty calm through the rest of the week and into the weekend, too. By late Saturday and into Sunday it does look like there will be a slight chance for some precip, but otherwise things are going to stay dry.

In fact, The GFS is showing between 10- and 25-percent of out normal precipitation during the next week.

It looks like most of the rainfall will occur south into the Gulf and over into Florida.
