A few patches of drizzle Sat PM – Sun AM, otherwise dry: Southern MS/AL/LA Weather Forecast – 2/11/22

Another nice day to end the week. Get out an enjoy the weather! There may be a few passing clodus today, but it will be a bit warmer and still mostly sunny.

We are still looking at a chance for a few patches of drizzle Saturday night and into early Sunday morning. Most of this will be really light stuff and while it may mix with a few snowflakes, but the flakes will be pretty small. In fact, I’m not certain it would be easy to delineate between drizzle droplets and snowflakes.

Beyond that we are dry by Sunday at lunch and then through Wednesday morning.

By Wednesday afternoon and through Friday we will have another system increase the chance for rain and also the potential for some severe weather on Thursday.

The CIPS Analogs (above) shows a potential across the entire region on Thursday. So this is something to keep in the back of your mind once we get to about midweek.
