Nice week of weather continues, still have a chance for storms next Monday: Southern MS/AL/LA Weather Forecast – 3/2/22

I’m still fighting off this head cold, but I think its getting better. I can actually breathe out of one nostril today!

This week continues to look nice with plenty of sunshine and highs in the 70s and 80s. In fact, we should get all the way through the weekend before the next chance for rain arrives as we start next week.

That chance for rain, may also include the potential for a few severe storms, too.

As many of you have learned over the years, any time we get really nice – and warm – weather in late February and early March, that often leads to at least one day of storms.

And here we are, next Monday. This morning the data from the CIPS Analogs show a low-end risk for severe weather across parts of the region next Monday.

This isn’t a slam dunk quite yet. but if you have plans to travel or do something outside next Monday, you may just want to keep tabs on the forecast in the coming days.

After this, it looks like we will get another round of storms through the area on Wednesday, too.

After that point, things should calm down again.
