Typical summertime weather, hot with storms possible: Southern MS/AL/LA Weather Forecast – 7/24/22

It still looks like heat and humidity with a chance for afternoon storms is the name of the game through the next week. This is typical summertime stuff, with nothing out of the ordinary anticipated. It may be a bit hotter one day versus another, and one day may feature a bit more shower activity than another, but nothing sticks out as overly anomalous during the next seven days.

That said, around the seventh day a batch of drier, perhaps dusty, air will drift toward the area.

This drier – allowing the area to get a bit warmer – and dusty – producing nice sunsets – would also potentially aggravate some folks allergies and asthma. So as we head through the weekend and into next week, keep in mind that starting Sunday and through about Wednesday of next week (not this upcoming week) that things may be a bit drier and dustier.

Outside of that, pretty typical weather.
