Still warm, still humid, storms possible into next week: Southern MS/AL/LA Weather Forecast – 12/7/22

Not much to update, aside from timing. It still looks like it’ll be mild, humid with a chance for a few showers here and there through the weekend. Then next week we are still looking at a chance for storms by Tuesday(ish) with the potential for severe weather.

The CIPS Analogs are still showing the threat for severe weather and now the Storm Prediction Center has een added a Slight Risk across parts of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi.

Behind the chance for storms we should cool down a bit – though not a ton – and it’ll start to feel more like December.
