I hope everyone had a chance to catch a few raindrops yesterday. It looks like today will be much drier – and maybe a tad cooler. Yesterday we tagged 102F (just short of the record of 103 set in 1925) and today I think we top out around 96F or 97F.
As we move through the weekend it will remain dry with afternoon highs in the 90s and overnight lows around 70F. Below, you’ll see “overnight lows in the upper 60s” which means some low-lying spots may even drop to 66F or 67F. That will feel really nice to wake up to this weekend.
As we move through next week we will get another shot for some rain starting Wednesday as we transition back into a setup where the seabreeze will be able to fire off some afternoon storms.
