The dry spell continues. Some areas haven’t seen rain since late September. However, by Thursday, model guidance suggests a change as a cold front approaches from the Plains, bringing deep moisture (precipitable water near 2 inches) and modest instability. The result could be efficient rainfall near the front, with up to 1/2 inch of rain possible.
