A few showers today, more this Sat PM / Sun AM: Southern MS/AL/LA Weather Forecast – 2/25/22

Light rain this morning will do just enough to force you to use the windshield wipers. It will also make this morning feel a bit colder with all of the humidity in the air. The light rain and drizzle will ease off by the late morning and into the afternoon. While some patches here and there can’t be ruled out through later this evening, it’ll be pretty spotty.

Looking ahead, we will see another round of light rain and showers possible this weekend. Model data suggests that Saturday night and into Sunday morning another system rolls through with some light rain and – if we are lucky – a few rumbles of thunder.

Then things clear out and should warm up as we move through next week.

In all, not a bad forecast! No severe weather anticipated, no wintry weather anticipated, no big cold shots, no big heat waves, and some light rain to help out the Agriculture folks, but not enough to cause flooding.

Not bad for late February and early March!
