As All-Star break finishes we kick back into the regular season of the MLB. Friday we will have a bunch of games across the country. Let’s see what the forecast holds for each home game on Friday and over the weekend!
Padres at Philles
The Padres head east to Philly for a four game series. The first game is Friday night at 6:05pm ET. Saturday’s two games are at 1:05pm ET and 7:05pm ET and Sunday’s game is at 1:35pm ET.
A warm Friday night in Philly with some possible storms. The largest chance of rain will be in the middle innings. As of now the chance of a thunderstorm seems unlikely until the end of the game. There may be a possibility of changing the game time to avoid any chance for precipitation. As of now the winds will be gusty in the early innings but will die down as the game progresses.
For Saturday and Sunday the weather will have some rain chances especially on Sunday. Be sure to look out for that as we get closer.
Marlins at Orioles
The Marlins take on the Orioles as both teams are second in their conference’s east division. In this three game series they will play Friday and Saturday at 7:05pm ET, and Sunday at 1:35pm ET.
Friday’s game in Baltimore will be warm with temperatures in the 80’s. It will be pretty humid with some scattered cloud coverage that will dissipate in the later innings. Minimal winds will be in the area.
For Saturday and Sunday rain is the biggest problem. Saturday scattered showers may occur but Sunday showers are likely for the start of the game so watch out for a possible rain delay.
Giants at Pirates
These two National League teams take each other on in Pittsburgh this weekend. The three game series will take place on Friday and Saturday at 7:05pm ET and Sunday at 12:05pm ET.
A humid Friday in Pittsburgh with temperatures in the low 80’s cooling to the upper 70’s as the game progresses. Minimal winds with some scattered clouds in the area. No precipitation is expected.
For Saturday rain is possible in the later innings but Sunday should be pretty clear.
Diamondbacks at Blue Jays
The Diamondbacks travel to Toronto to face the Blue Jays in a three game series. Friday’s game is at 7:07pm ET, Saturday at 3:07pm ET, and Sunday at 1:37pm ET.
Nice weather for baseball in Toronto as temperatures will start in the low 80’s and cool off the the mid 70’s by the end of the game. Humidity is high and will get higher at the game continues. Winds will be slight at upper levels which may have slight effects on ball motion. Some scattered clouds will be in the sky.
For Saturday rain is possible later in the game. Sunday looks to be pretty free of precipitation.
Brewers at Reds
The Brewers and Reds face off as they compete for the top of the AL Central. The three game series will take place Friday and Saturday at 7:10 pm ET, and Sunday at 1:40pm ET.
Friday’s game in Cincinnati will be warm with temperatures in the low to high 80’s. Temperatures will start higher and cool down as the game progresses. Winds will be minimal. There will be some cloud coverage that develops in the later innings.
For Saturday rain is likely during the game so a rain delay or cancelation may be possible. Sunday should be clear of any precipitation.
Dodgers at Mets
The Dodgers head over to New York as the take on the Mets in Queens. In this three game series play on Friday at 7:10pm ET, Saturday at 7:15pm ET, and Sunday at 1:40pm ET.
Friday night in NYC will be humid but temperatures will be in the 70’s. However scattered rain shower sea thunderstorms are possible in the area so that will be something to look out for. Winds will be minimal.
For Saturday some rain may linger in the later innings of the game. For Sunday rain looks to be all over the area and the game may get postponed.
White Sox at Braves
The White Sox travel to Atlanta to face the Braves who currently lead the National League. This three games series takes place Friday at 7:20pm ET, Saturday at 7:15pm ET, and Sunday at 1:35pm ET.
Friday’s game in Atlanta will be warm with temperatures starting in the upper 80’s and cooling down to the lower 80’s by the end of the game. The humidity will increase as the evening goes on. Winds are marginal. There will be some decent cloud cover during the game.
For Saturday possible scattered showers will be in the area and will develop more as the game continues. Sunday should be mostly clear will some possible lingering showers.
Guardians at Rangers
The Rangers host the Guardians in this three game series down in Arlington. Friday’s game is at 7:05pm CT, Saturday at 3:05pm CT, and Sunday at 1:35pm CT.
It will be hot in Texas on Friday and clear skies. The temperatures in the first few innings will be in the low 100’s and will stay near that until the last few innings when it dips to the upper 90’s. Be mindful of this extreme heat when at this game. Winds may play a factor in ball motion as winds are in the mid to upper teens.
For Saturday the weather will be clear. Sunday there is a slight chance of passing showers though it’s likely to be more north of the field.
Red Sox at Cubs
The Red Sox take on the Cubs in a three game weekend series. The first game is Friday at 7:05pm CT. Then Saturday and Sunday at 1:20pm CT.
Friday’s game will have some cloud cover with no precipitation in Chicago. The temperatures will be in the low 80’s cooling down the upper 70’s. Humidity will be fairly high. The wind may play a factor in ball movement as we see winds in the low teens up at 150ft. That may be something to factor in.
For Saturday the weather will be pretty clear. you may see some scattered showers early before the game and even into the first few innings but will clear. Sunday the weather will be clear.
Rays at Royals
The American League leaders, the Rays, take on the Royals in Kansas City. The three games series will take place on Friday at 7:10pm CT, Saturday at 6:10pm CT, and Sunday at 1:10pm CT.
Warm temperatures on Friday for the game. Temperatures will be in the upper 80’s during the first few innings but gradually cool off into the low 80’s by the end of the game. Wind will be minimal. There will be some good cloud cover throughout the game but there will not be any precipitation.
For Saturday the weather will be clear. Sunday showers will possibly develop throughout the game.
Nationals at Cardinals
The Cardinals host the Nationals in a three game series this weekend. Friday’s game is at 7:15pm CT, Saturday at 6:15pm CT, and Sunday at 1:15pm CT.
Friday night in St. Louis will be a warm one. Temperatures will start in the upper 80’s but cool down to the lower 80’s by the 8th inning. Winds will be slight especially in the upper levels so it may effect some ball movement though it is unlikely. There will be some clouds in the area and more will move in as the game goes on.
For Saturday scattered showers are likely during game time. Sunday will be clear.
Yankees at Rockies
The Yankees head west to Colorado to face the Rockies in a three game series. The first will take place Friday at 6:40pm MT, then Saturday at 6:10pm MT, and Sunday at 1:10pm MT.
The west is keeping the weather nice for some baseball on Friday. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 70’s cooling as the game goes on. Winds will be minimal. There will be some cloud coverage but it will be mostly clear during the game.
For Saturday some scattered showers will be throughout the area early in the game but should clear out later. Sunday the weather will be clear.
Astros at Angels
The Astros head west to play the Angels in an AL West matchup. The three game series takes place on Friday at 6:38pm PT, Saturday at 6:07pm PT, and Sunday at 4:10pm PT.
Temperatures will be warm on Friday evening’s game. Starting off during batting practice temperatures will be in the low 90’s but as the game goes on temperatures will drop into the upper 70’s. Wind speeds are low which will have minimal effect on the game. there will be some scattered clouds early on but will clear later in the evening.
For Saturday and Sunday the weather will be clear.
Twins at Athletics
The Twins visit the Athletics in Oakland. These teams will play three games with Friday’s at 6:40pm PT, then Saturday at 4:07pm PT, and Sunday at 1:07pm PT.
A crisp Friday night in Oakland as we see temperatures in the low to high 60’s. Temperatures will start warmer and decrease as the game progresses. Some light surface winds with some winds in the upper single digits higher up. This means wind will most likely not play a huge factor in ball speed.
For Saturday and Sunday the weather will be clear.
Tigers at Mariners
The Tigers travel to Seattle to face the Mariners in a three game series. Friday’s game is at 7:10pm PT, Saturday at 6:40pm PT, and Sunday at 1:10pm PT.
We are going to see great weather for a ball game Friday in Seattle. Temperatures will start in the upper 70’s during batting practice and cool off as it gets later in the game. By the time you are ready to head out it will be in the upper 60’s. However it might feel a bit chiller because we have some wind especially in the upper level seats. The wind speeds high up will be in the lower 10’s which won’t have much effect on ball speed.
