Chilly start, with rain again tonight: Southern MS/AL/LA Weather Forecast – 1/24/22

It isn’t quite as cold this morning as yesterday morning, with most folks waking up today with temperatures in the mid to upper 20s as opposed to some folks waking up in the teens yesterday.

Clouds will start to increase across the area today, with the next system sliding by to the south. As it does so during the next 36 hours, it means some rain – and cold rain – will develop overnight tonight and linger into tomorrow morning.

Thankfully, now wintry mix and no severe weather. So the only ‘disruption’ from the weather will be the necessity for some windshield wipers.

Behind this first system, it looks pretty boring for the next seven days. Another dry cold front will try to swing through later this week, offering a slight cool down, but otherwise things looking uneventful.

We’ll take it!
