It is another cold start this morning with temperatures in the low 30s across the area. Many folks are waking up this morning to frost on the ground again, too.
This morning is the last morning of 30s for the foreseeable future, so hopefully you get a chance to enjoy it if you are a Winter Person.
As we move through the weekend and into next week, things will warm back into the 70s and 80s ahead of the next front. That next front is still a bit of a wildcard as the model guidance isn’t quite certain how things will shake out with its passage.
The next front is set to arrive Tuesday, but there is a pretty wide spread between possible solutions in the model guidance. The GFS is showing a stronger front with storms and the potential for a severe storm here and there while the Euro shows a very weak front with barely any rainfall.
The actual forecast lies somewhere in-between. I think the GFS is a little to aggressive with the development of a second southern area of low pressure but the Euro is probably a little too unrealistic showing a southern area of low pressure lagging behind the front by two days.
In short: it is worth monitoring to see how things actually shake out.
Once that passes, though, things dry back out and we go back to enjoying nice Fall weather
