The cold front that has been moving through the US for the last week will reach the Southeast in the next couple days, ending the trend of warm temperatures over the last week there. Most of the country will see chilly to cold temperatures in the coming days, which, unfortunately, means Halloween temperatures will not be the most pleasant. The map below shows approximate temperatures at 7 PM Central Time on Halloween.
The front will bring rain to the Southeast and Northeast CONUS Monday, with snow possible in the northernmost parts of New England. Aside from that (and some rain in the Pacific Northwest starting Wednesday), most of the country will see clear weather over the next few days.
The cold spell will start to improve across most of the country by Thursday, but it may not be until the weekend that most people will feel pleasant temperatures.
