It looks like we’ll be seeing some low clouds and fog this morning as a surface front moves out of the area. Don’t worry though, it should clear up by mid-morning, although we might see some high clouds stick around during the day thanks to an upper jet.
As we head through the weekend, we will see another round of showers and storms possible – particularly closer to the coast. Model guidance suggests the main threat for rain will be early Saturday morning. Some storms may drop some brief heavy rain, produce gusty wind and small hail. The tornado threat is quite low.
The rain will taper off by Sunday morning, and we can expect clear skies by the afternoon. After that, it looks like things will be pretty quiet for the rest of the week, with high pressure in place across the forecast area. Temperatures should hover around normal for this time of year despite the dry conditions.
