Foggy mornings continue, storms possible next week: Southern MS/AL/LA Weather Forecast – 12/9/22

More fog. It’ll clear as we move through the morning, but a lot of you will be waking up to fog this morning. This is all setting the stage for the chance for storms as we move through next week

The Storm Prediction Center has outlined parts of the area with the potential for severe weather next Tuesday and Wednesday,

Tuesday’s SPC Risk
Wednesday’s SPC Risk

They have trimmed the Enhanced Risk slightly and expanded the Slight Risk into Wednesday across a larger section of the area. It is still not something to lose sleep over, but certainly something to continue to monitor in the coming days.

Otherwise, the only thing worth watching for the next few days is morning fog, afternoon sun and the occasional shower or storm here and there this weekend.
