Friday Forecast

It’s Friday! We made it! Almost to the weekend!

As we close out the week keep an eye out for two rounds of flurries across the area. For the Oklahoma panhandle and our eastern counties, it looks like a few flurries will cruise through this morning. And then, as we move through this evening, another round of light rain/snow showers will develop and glide through, too.

Here in Amarillo I think we have a chance to catch a few flakes this morning and a few raindrops this evening, too. Unfortunately, the main bluk of the moisture will be to our east. Don’t fret, though, there is much out there to be realized. Total accumulations/rainfall amounts will be less than .5″ of snow and less than .05″ or rain.

Temperatures today will hang in the upper 30s and low 40s on the caprock and into the mid 40s as you make your way to the southeast.
