Hello everybody! It’s Noah! As some of you may remember me from a few years ago, I was Nick’s intern at WDAM! And now I have my degree in professional operational meteorology!
So where have I been/what have I been up to??
A lot has happened in almost four years, crazy to think it’s been that long. I finished my meteorology classes in 2019 and graduated from Mississippi State, but I wasn’t quite done since I had a few classes I hadn’t finished. I came back home to Hattiesburg and finished out those classes over the next year at USM. But I am now officially a degreed meteorologist! It took a long time to do but I’m very happy I accomplished that goal after so many years.
For those of you that are familiar with me, I was writing weather blogs on and off on my own page, but as my plate got bigger with things I had to do and working a full time job, I had to put it on hiatus. Thankfully, however, Nick stepped in and wanted me to help with his blog and I’m very excited to do so! I love the weather and forecasting and I’m glad to get the gears running in my head for forecasting again.
Nowadays, I’m working audiovisual/IT for a few different places as I have a lot of experience working at my church and landed a job in that field full time. I hope to find a meteorology job in the future, however for now I’m working with technology which is something I’m already experienced with. I’m still in Hattiesburg and I’m happy to be forecasting for everyone in the Pine Belt again.
See y’all soon!
Wow! Glad your back home to help each over South MS!
