I’m sure you guys have all seen / read about the upcoming Cold Front. As I often did on-air at WDAM, I’m going to borrow a line from Star Wars….
This is not the cold front you are looking for.
This front will knock back dewpoints, a bit, for a few days, at most, as we move through the middle of next week. But to call it a meaningful cold front is probably a bit too much. Particularly for the Gulf Coast.
Any respectable amount of cooling is still another few weeks away (at the earliest).
What the front will do, though, is clear out the chance for rain. It look slike as we get into the beginning of next week we will start to really dry out and we may actually – GASP! – see the sun for a few days, too!
