I Can See Rainy Days Ahead, and It’s A Good Thing!

Hello and thank you for joining me on tonight’s edition of your local Pine Belt weather! It’s just me tonight so I’ll be providing you with both the short term and long term forecast for the upcoming week! Let’s take a look!

Short Term:

Time 7 a.m. 10 a.m. 1 p.m. 4 p.m. 7 p.m.
Weather Cloudy Fair Scattered Scattered Fair
Temperature 75 85 89 90 87
Wind None SE @ 5-10 mph SE @ 5-10 mph SE @ 5-10 mph SW @ 5-10 mph

Long Term:

Wednesday June 27th: Expect a high of 95 and a low of 74. Clear skies with a few clouds here and there to provide little shade, we can plan for only a 30% chance for rain and little wind. (Drink plenty of water and take breaks inside in the cool when needed.)

Thursday June 28th: Expect a high of 95 and a low of 75. Clear skies continue with few clouds yet again. We still hold on to only a 30% chance for rain and little wind.

Friday June 29th: Expect a high of 94 and a low of 76. Skies will be mostly cloudy with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms around the area. There’s an increase to 40% chance for rain and no wind.

Saturday June 30th: Expect a high of 91 and a low of 74. Skies will be cloudy with an increased rain chance of 50% with thunderstorms and rain showers move in from a strong front out of the northwest during the next few days.

Sunday July 1st: Expect a high of 89 and a low of 73. Skies continue to be cloudy with a hold on the 50% chance of rain and thunderstorms around the region. As the front moves closer and grows stronger, expect to see moisture at some point in your day.

Monday July 2nd: Expect a high of 93 and a low of 73. Skies begin to clear as the front dissipates, and we have scattered clouds giving a 30% chance of rain. There’s not much wind to mention of but there could be enough to give a light breeze in the afternoon.

Tuesday July 3rd: Expect a high of 93 and a low of 73. Skies remain full of scattered clouds that again hold a 30% chance of rain. Wind can be seen out of the south and giving us a nice cooling breeze.

As we switch between rain and dry days, continue to keep drinking plenty of water! Your body loses water much quicker than you realize and the cloudy days can still cause dehydration if you’re doing strenuous activity and not drinking enough water beforehand.

There’s a look at your local weather! Have a great week ya’ll!
