Things continue to look mild and pleasant as we close out the week and head into the weekend. Right now we will hold on to a dry forecast through Sunday afternoon. So get out and enjoy the weekend!
As we head into Sunday evening and through next week the pattern becomes a bit more active.
The above maps show the 500mb height anomalies. I won’t get too into the weeds this morning on what that means, but know that any time you live under the red it is calm and – generally – seasonable. And any time you under the blue it is not.
And when you ride the area between the two, it is a good indicator that unsettled weather will be hanging around. And that is where the Gulf Coast will be for most of next week.
And the forecast agrees with chances for rain nearly every day next week starting on Monday. So get your fill of the sunshine and nice weather, because next week isn’t looking quite as nice.
