Just Another Rainy Tuesday

Welcome back to the land of interns! Today it’s just myself putting together the look at later tonight as well as the rest of the week.

Tonight:

Scattered thunderstorms and rain across most of the area, keep watching the WDAM news team to give you the latest updates on severe weather we expect to see tonight. Mostly cloudy skies and moderate temperatures will carry us through the evening.

Tomorrow:

Time 7 a.m. 10 a.m. 1 p.m. 4 p.m. 7 p.m.
WX Overcast Broken Clouds Broken Clouds Broken Clouds Overcast
Temp 70 77 81 79 77
Wind None NE @ 5-10 mph NW @5-10 mph NW @ 5-10 mph NW @ 5-10 mph

Expect thunderstorms and showers in the morning with an overall high of 88 and a low of 70. A 40% chance of rain carries through the day and I would recommend carrying a umbrella as well as maybe wearing shoes you don’t mind getting wet if you step in a puddle.

Thursday Aug. 2nd:

  • Expect a high of 90 with a low of 71. Rain chances are at 20% and wind is very light with light cloud coverage but mostly upper-level “wispy” cirrus clouds so not much filter from the sunshine.

Friday Aug. 3rd:

  • Expect a high of 90 with a low of 71. Rain chances are again at 20% and wind still remains normal with a light breeze to give us a break from the heat. Cloud coverage is very light with more cirrus clouds but a few spots for clouds.

Saturday Aug. 4th:

  • Expect a high of 90 with a low of 71. Rain chances are yet again, 20% (shocker!) and wind follows the Mississippi usual. Cloud coverage is still mostly sunny with a few scattered clouds.

Sunday Aug. 5th:

  • Expect a high of 95 with a low of 73. We begin to heat things  up moving back into the regular routine for a 10% chance of rain and higher temperatures, mostly clear skies, and a dry atmosphere.

Monday Aug. 6th:

  • Expect a high of 95 with a low of 73. Continuing to keep the warmth in the beginning of the week, the chance for rain sits at 10% still and clouds are virtually obsolete.

Tuesday Aug. 7th:

Expect a high of 93 with a low of 72. The 10% chance for rain still holds with high cirrus clouds overhead. We see the continuation of warm temperatures and a dryer atmosphere considering the amount of rain we’ve received this past week.

There’s the look at your weather for the week ya’ll! Have a good one!
