The threat for severe weather across the Pine Belt isn’t terribly high as we move through Thursday and Friday – but it is the first time we will be dealing with the chance for organized severe weather in quite some time.
Here is a look at some of the behind the scenes stuff we look at to forecast the weather!
In a nutshell, we are looking at a chance for showers and storms starting Thursday afternoon through Friday. A bulk of the rough weather will be northwest of the Pine Belt, but some storms could be severe. Right now, I’d classify the current threat as “Low” with the main threats as wind and hail. The tornado threat is quite low, but it is also not zero.
As things change – because they will – I’ll be posting updates. Check back for updated details!
