Hello everyone, there will be a high-pressure system trying to develop in the Southeast to provide a drier and sunny weather for the Southeast states It seems like there will be a cluster of thunderstorms developing in the Gulf of Mexico with some scattered storms from it developing near the coastal areas in the afternoon and early evening. In the morning, it will be mostly sunny with a low temperature in the mid 70s. Then in the late afternoon, it will be partly cloudy to scattered thunderstorms with a high temperature in the upper 80s.
For today, the PW values are ranging from 1.95 inches up to 2.15 inches of amount of moisture will be in the atmosphere near the coastal LA/MS/AL areas. It will be not as high PW values from my previous forecast. Also, the dew point temperatures will be in the low 70s throughout the day.
Here is a visual HRRR reflection for today thunderstorms will be appearing in the afternoon There will be isolated to scattered thunderstorms and showers will start to be developing in 19z to 21z (2pm to 4pm CDT). It seems like the low-pressure system in the Gulf of Mexico will send multiple rounds of rain in the next few days, With the low pressures system will be slowly moving into the Texas or Louisiana coastline in the next few days.
With sun heating up the land and with the dew point in the low 70s, for the heat index will be in the mid 90s. With the storms on its way to slightly cool down the temperatures in the afternoon. Stay nice and cool from the hot weather!
Thank You Note
Thank you for reading my weather forecasts during the Summer, as I will be finished up my last two forecasts for the Coastal LA/MS/AL and CONUS for Nickelblock forecasting. I am grateful that Nick Lilja to taught me the basics of doing a forecasting report for the public. Currently, I have started my junior year at University of Oklahoma to learn more about meteorology. It was fun to use this opportunity to apply my own knowledge and skills to make these forecasts for the public. I hope everybody stay safe from any danger from weather and be weather aware by reading more from Nick Lilja weather news from Nickelblock Forecasting.
