Not perfect alliteration, but you get the idea. The reason I press so hard against listening to people that push out “too good to be true” forecasts or “doomsday” forecasts is because usually they are false.
Know who you are getting your forecast from!
Proof is in the puddin’ as they say. Here is a look at one of the forecasts from “Weather Alert Central” which is now known as National Weather Force.
And here is a look at actual snowfall tallied this season from the good folks at Climate Central:
Unless there is some sort of record snowfall in the coming four weeks, the south will likely miss a chance at above average snowfall.
