Pop Goes the Rain Shower

Welcome back to another beautiful afternoon in the pine belt! I’ve got just two forecasts left before my time here at the station comes to an end so let’s make this one great!

Short Term:

Tonight:

  • Continue to be on the lookout for those famous pop-up rain showers that like to appear in the mid-afternoon. As of now we look fairly clear around the area but with minor chances of things moving from the south and out of the west, our clear and beautiful skies could give us a run for our money by providing rain a guest appearance slot.

Tomorrow:

Time 7 a.m. 10 a.m. 1 p.m. 4 p.m. 7 p.m.
WX Cloudy Cloudy Scattered Clouds Fair Cloudy
Temp 75 86 91 91 87
Wind None NW @ 5-10 mph NW @ 5-10 mph NW @ 5-10 mph W @ 5-10 mph

High temperature of 94 with a low of 74 and a 30% chance for rain.

Long Term:

Thursday 16th August –

  • High temperature of 93 with a low of 75. Rain chances hold to a 30% with mostly clear skies

Friday 17th August –

  • High temperature of 94 with a low of 75. Rain chances drop to a 20% with mostly clear skies again. This concludes the nice weather of the week and we see ourselves jump into a weekend full of rain so enjoy the sun and get some yard work done before the skies get gloomy.

Saturday 18th August –

  • High temperature of 90 with a low of 74. Rain chances are at a 50% through the day. It’s unlikely that any of these will turn into severe thunderstorms but there will be plenty of rainfall throughout the day, so if you plan on doing some gardening or you’re planning on washing your car; I would suggest holding off until the start of the new week.

Sunday 19th August –

  • High temperature of 91 with a low of 74. Rain chances again hold at a 50% with showers primarily in the mid-day to early afternoon. Cloudy skies with occasional sun beams peeking through can be expected overhead.

Monday 20th August –

  • High temperature of 95 with a low of 75. Rain chances drop to 20% as the atmosphere returns to a dryer state. We see mostly clear skies and the return of the sun to give us that Vitamin D that we love to feel.

Tuesday 21st August –

  • High temperature of 95 with a low of 73. Rain chances again at 20% and mostly clear skies. We catch a break from more rain for a little while, so use this time to do all of the things you couldn’t courtesy of the southern rain that we’re all too familiar with.

Thanks for reading ya’ll! Have a good night!
