A cold front currently moving through thhe area. It is a pretty thin band of rain, but it is there. We may even have a few rumbles of thunder. Behind the front, cooler air settles in, giving us a chillier night into Thursday morning, though winds will calm down overnight.
By late week, a flow of colder, drier air will establish itself, making for seasonably chilly weather through the weekend. Expect daytime highs on Friday in the upper 40s to low 50s, and even cooler on Saturday, with overnight lows dipping into the mid-20s to low 30s.
As we head into next week, a warming trend kicks in, with highs climbing back into the 50s and 60s by Monday and Tuesday. Along with the warming temperatures, scattered showers will start to return on Tuesday and may continue into midweek.
