South Mississippi forecast 6/15/21: Heat continues locally, tropics coming into better focus

The forecast over the next few days is going to be highly dependent on where Invest 92L decides to go and how organized it decides to get.

For South Mississippi it will be another pretty warm day today with Heat Index values running about 100 degrees. Make sure you drink plenty of water if you have to be outside.

Then the rains arrive, with the potential tropical system, toward thsi weekend.

Mostly sunny with a 20-percent chance for showers and storms. Highs in the mid 90s. Heat index of up to 110, again.
