Southern MS / AL / LA Weather Forecast – 9/20/21

Still looks like that cold front is on schedule for Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning. We may need to make some final tweaks to rainfall chances and Wednesday morning temperatures, but overall it looks like the forecast for “Hot and Humid goes bye-bye” will hold for Tuesday/Wednesday.

Now, it isn’t gone forever. It is only booted into the Gulf for a handful of days. But it does look like the dewpoints will have a difficult time getting back above 73F going forward. That means, the Heat Index and the “eww gross” feeling when outside will be over.

That said, we still have a two more days of summer heat and humidity. So for you Summer Lovers: Enjoy it! For you folks who are ready for Autumn, you have two days to prepare your sweaters, pumpkins, and porch swings.
