IT looks like the weather will be pretty benign during the next seven days. We will see the chance for some patchy drizzle on Saturday, but other than that, it looks generally cool and generally dry.
But things get more interesting as we get closer to Thanksgiving. The next system is set to push through the area some time between late Wednesday (next week) and early Friday (next week) morning.
depending on how things shake out as it passes through, there may be a risk for strong to severe storms. The area outlined in blue above would be the area we would need to watch the closest for adverse weather.
But we still have some time before we get there, so this isn’t anything I would lose sleep over. Instead, if you’re planning on deep frying a turkey outdoors, having dinner outside, or having the family get together and sending the kids out into the yard to work up an appetite… You may have to have a backup plan.
Until then, things are looking good!
