Thankfully, no major changes to the forecast. WE are still waiting for the next system to arrive as we move through the weekend. I think the chance for rain picks up as we move through Saturday night, through Sunday and should end by Sunday night.
In total, about 1″ to 2″ looks most likely across much of the area with higher totals farther south and closer to the coast. I thinkt he top end for this event is likely around 4″ in total over a 48 hour period.
Until then, things look pretty nice. After that, things look pretty nice for a few days, too.
By the time we get toward next weekend, we will get back into another shot for rain.
So far the threat for severe weather looks pretty limited with this first round of rain this upcoming weekend. Next weekend may be a slightly different story, but there isn’t anything that is jumping off the page quite yet.
