It looks like the rain came in a day early! Several cells are coming in from the northwest from the shortwave towards the Pinebelt and southeastern Louisiana.
So far, we have had a few small hail signatures from the line especially in south Lamar county and on the border of LA/MS. The storms further north look to be waning as they’ve let out a few outflow boundaries.
While these don’t look severe, there could be a few strong storms with lightning and gusty winds coming for those near Pearl River and Stone counties and moving southeast. Some more storms could pop up and even some rain behind this system may occur overnight into the morning.
