Temperatures, humidity increasing: Southern MS / AL / LA Weather Forecast – 10/18/21

The ridge of high pressure that delivered such a fantastic weekend will be shifting east and opening the door for showers and storms to return by Wednesday. It will also allow some extra warmth and humidity to sneak back into the forecast, too.

It does look like we will get another shot of some cooler(ish) air, but the upper-level pattern is not going to be one that allows for cooler Canadian air to sneak south.

Wind flips back to the south bumping up temperatures, humidity, and rain chances. The clouds will increase, too. Mostly cloudy with a 60-percent chance for showers and storms. Highs around 80.

Partly cloudy with chance of showers and slight chance of thunderstorms. Highs around 80. The chance of rain 40-percent.
