The Graphene Problem

I was actually thinking about this the other day. I was listening to an old StarTalk Radio Podcast. Neil DeGrasse Tyson was interviewing the makers of the Big Bang Theory and they got ont he topic of the Graphene Problem.

Sheldon was trying to figure out why electrons move through graphene with no mass.

Turns out that at the same time, real scientists were doing the same thing. And in 2004, they figured it out.

And everyone was a’buzz!

Then nothing.

And when I was listening to the podcast the other day, I stopped and thought, “Yeah, man! Whatever happened to that stuff?!”

Turns out, I wasn’t the only one thinking about it recently.
