Today’s Ballpark Forecast- 7/27/23

As we continue in the middle of the season we have only a few games for today to worry about with many of these teams facing off over the weekend. Let’s jump into it!



Angels at Tigers

The Tigers host the Angels for a double header at 1:10pm ET and the second game to follow after. The temperature will be warm as we head into midday highs will reach the mid 80s. It will be pretty cloudy to start the game but will clear as we head into the later innings. The second game will be warm and pretty clear as well. Humidity will be moderate and winds will be around 10 mph in the beginning innings but lessen as the game continues.

Nationals at Mets

The Nationals head to New York to face the Mets at 7:10pm ET tonight. Temperatures will be in the mid 80s to start the game and lower to the lower 80s. It will be partly cloudy will some winds that will have minimal effects. No precipitation is expected.

Cubs at Cardinals

The Cardinals take on the Cubs in St. Louis tonight at 6:45pm CT. It will be a clear evening but super hot in the area. Temperatures during batting practice and the first inning will be in the low 100s which is very hot with the sun. As the sun sets though the temperature will drop to the mid 90s. Be very careful when attending this game due to the extreme heat. Winds will be minimal which doesn’t help bring any relief of the heat. This could play an effect on player performance due to the heat.

Guardians at White Sox

The Guardians head to Chicago to play the White Sox at 7:10pm CT. It will be a clear night with moderate temperatures. It will be the low 80s in the early innings but drop to the upper 70s in the late game. Winds will be in the teens in the upper air levels which may have some ball impacts. Humidity will be high so it will be moist in the air.
