As we head into the middle of August baseball season is in full swing. Let’s get into all of the games for today!
Astros at Orioles
The American League front runners the Orioles host the Astros who are looking to take the lead in the AL. This game takes place at 12:35pm ET. The temperature will be mild with the heat picking up in the middle innings. It will be fairly humid and cloudy with some possible showers as people are exiting the stadium. The wind will pick up in the later innings as some rain enters the area.
Braves at Pirates
The National League front runner heads to Pittsburgh to play the Pirates at 12:35pm ET. It will be a rainy game that may end up getting delayed or postponed. Batting practice will be pretty dry but the rain will start at gamete and last throughout the whole game. It will be in the low to mid 70s but humid. Winds will be minimal.
Blue Jays at Guardians
The Guardians host the Blue Jays in Cleveland at 1:10pm ET. It will be partly cloudy during batting practice but the clouds will clear by the middle innings. Temperatures will be in the mid 70s but humidity will be high. Winds will be minimal but will pick up into the low 10s as the game continues.
Twins at Tigers
The Twins take on the Tigers in Detroit at 1:10pm ET. Partly cloudy skies will come with temperatures in the low 80s. Humidity will be fair and wind speeds will be in the teens towards the outfield. It will be good weather for an afternoon ball game.
Cardinals at Rays
The Cardinals head down to Tampa Bay to face the Rays at 6:40pm ET. It will be hot in the low 90s during batting practice but as the evening progresses it will cool to the upper 80s. Some clouds will be in the area and more will come in later in the game. The humidity will also increase as the game continues with winds decreasing throughout the game.
Nationals at Phillies
The Nationals play the Phillies at 6:40pm ET. It will be a rainy start to the game and most likely a rain delay will occur. However the rain will settle by the proposed game time and fizzle out as the evening continues. The clouds will stay as well as the humidity. The temperature will be in the low 70s with minimal winds.
Royals at Red Soxs
The Red Soxs host the Royals in Boston at 7:10pm ET. It will be a clear night with early clouds clearing by the end of the game. Temperatures will start in the upper 70s but cool to the upper 60s by the end of the game. The humidity will increase as the game continues but the winds will lower.
Rockies at Dodgers
The Rockies head west to LA to play the Dodgers at 7:10pm PT. It will be great playing weather with temperatures in the low 70s decreasing to the upper 60s. Humidity will increase during the game but winds will decrease from the 10s to single digits.
