Two fronts, two cool downs: Southern MS/AL/LA Weather Forecast – 11/10/22

The drier weather continues, although it may be a tad breezy as we are influenced be the eastern side of Nicole

But, I’ve got to say, folks, this ain’t bad. After the blitzkrieg of weather that the region has endured since, roughly, December of 2019, to have a stretch of drier and more benign weather is a bit of a relief. Yes, the area continues to need rain and the Mississippi River is running below normal. But I’m guessing most of us would take that over weekly tornadoes, late season hurricanes or ice storms.

And speaking of weather, tt still looks like the only meaningful weather will arrive overnight Friday and into Saturday morning with the chance for a few light showers as a cold front rolls through.

Behind the rain it will get quite a bit drier and cooler behind the cold front. Might see temps dip into the 30s on Sunday and Monday mornings.

The next chance for rain arrives Monday through Tuesday morning as a coastal low slips by to the south. This will limit the threat for severe weather and give us a chance for some soaking rain.

Behind that coastal low another shot of cooler air. This one may end up being slightly more meaningful… But we will have to wait and see on that.
